Can’t file my state return. Says error on spouses ssn but it’s correct. How do I get past this to Efile?

I need to file my state return but keep getting a error code about my spouses ssn

Go back to the My Info section, edit your spouse's information.  Delete the SS number and re-enter.

Is the error just stating that the SSN is just incorrect?  Or something else?

Have you entered the SSN exactly as shown on their current Social Security card?
