Do you have other California forms in your tax return which may not yet be finalized?

Some forms are not yet ready for e-file.   And.....the IRS will not begin to accept e-files until January 24.   Your state return cannot be accepted until AFTER the IRS accepts your federal return.

I keep getting the CA Individual Schedule CA California Adjustments (is this the 540?) is "not ready", so Turbo Tax is not letting me pre-file my taxes.  What is going on?  Filing begins tomorrow.  Media says "file early", but I'm stuck!

Ready on the state site and ready in tax software are not the same thing.   You will have to wait for the CA form to be ready in the software.

Thank you for giving me a date.  Sure hope so.  Can't find any definitive date anywhere on the 'net, on FTB, on Turbotax...nowhere!  Just that it's "ready soon".  Again, thanks.  I'll look for it tomorrow.
