I'm trying to report the sale of a secondary property on TurboTax Premier. When I click the button to bring up a 1099-S, the program is directing me to questions for a 1099-B. The heading on the software says: Your info should match your 1099‑B exactly.
Is there a workaround to access the 1099-S?

These types of sales are considered investment sales, you need to enter this info in the investment section of TurboTax.
@MayaD Thanks for the reply. The software is launching straight into the 1099-B, there's no option for me to say no and get to the 1099-S I followed your instructions step by step.
