Can someone help with 2210Ai? Msg: Line 16-a must be entered, but then below that it says Line 18 with a space to type something. Does anyone know what it is asking

This is calculating the penalty that you are paying for not paying proper estimated taxes.  If you want to enter all of your income in quarterly amounts in order to show that you made more in some quarters than in others (thus requiring uneven quarterly payments).

In order to get to the questions you'll need to follow these steps -

1. In the search box on the top right search for underpayment of taxes.
2. Select the Jump to link in the search results.
3. The Underpayment Penalties screen will display the penalty amount. Select Continue to review this section and make any needed adjustments.
   • Note: If you see No Underpayment Penalty, you either haven't entered your income and/or estimated tax payments yet, or you aren't subject to an underpayment penalty.
   • Keep going, until you reach the Annualized Income Method screen.

Thank you - I did do the annualized breakdown and that was when this came up. 

I redid the questions and then it asked for my tax breakdown by quarter, which I don't have, so skipping this form.
