Can someone figure out what this glitch is and help me complete the file and finish process? I’ve spoken to 3 Turbo Tax reps and I was told there was a glitch

Once I enter in my data for E-filing and click continue it redirects me to the step 1-3 process all over again. It will not direct me to the file or complete section . There Tax rep said try in 4 days . I should have to wait for days when this isn’t an error on my part.

I’ve been having the same issue the past 4 days , my expert continues to ask me to complete the check out but it’s still not checking me out despite the 100th tries I’ve E-filed . I’m getting pretty frustrated and no one’s helping . I hope we get answers soon.

Are you requesting to pay TurboTax with your Refund?  If so, Some customers are experiencing issues when trying to file and pay with their refund.  We are investigating this issue.  However, if you would prefer to file now, you can do so by switching to pay your TurboTax fees with a credit card instead of using the pay with my refund option by following these steps.

 

If you select Pay with My Refund to pay your TurboTax fees, there’s an additional $40 processing fee charged by the third-party bank that handles the transaction.

 

If this does not apply, and you're using TurboTax Online, you can clear your Cache and Cookies and retry your payment.

 

If this doesn't resolve your issue, you can Contact TurboTax Support and reference 'Billing' in your request.

I already switched to credit card and IT WILL WON'T FILE MY TAXES. 

looks like this issue is almost a week old and TURBO TAX still won't fix =.... 

 

so now you have my money & I STILL CAN'T FILE. 

 

Looks like TT & Quickbooks want to have ANOTHER LAWSUIT on their hands.

Some customers are experiencing issues when trying to file but are looped back instead of being able to proceed and file.  We are currently investigating this issue. We will notify you once the program is updated.

Been having the same issue for over two weeks now. It took them almost this entire time to finally tell me there was a bug instead of continously telling me I was doing something wrong.  Then to suggest we have to pay out of pocket to potentially fix the glitch is crazy to me.  Yall should be doing away with our fileing fees at the point not trying to get us to pay your fees upfront lol.

Let us know if you are still having issues.  I would recommend updating your software and trying again.  

  • If you are using TurboTax Desktop, please log into your program and select Online, Check for updates in the top menu.
  • If you are using TurboTax Online, please log out of the program, clear your cache, and then log back in.  This should allow you to proceed with transmitting your return.

Yup I’m still having the same issue , I’ve been having this issue since the get go Jan 21, I was well aware the IRS wasn’t accepting until the 26 but wanted a head start , I’ve tried leaving my full experience with my expert and I keep getting told “we are finishing it up today” and get no response throughout the next 2 days . I’m upset because I cannot leave the experience and file somewhere else because of my information already being almost submitted . The “higher ups” are not help either , it’s the same answer every single day and I’m over it . First and last time I ever file with TurboTax this is just HORRIBLE.

I am having the exact same issue without any success even after trying the trouble shooting steps over and over

Try a Manual Update.  This issue is reported as being resolved.

Same issue with me. No hep from TurboTax with their issue in the software for disaster relief forms. But TurboTax did take my money but software won’t allow me to submit…and guess what they won’t provide me a refund of what I paid to attempt to use the service.

Form 8915 is ready, so you can step through the 1099-R and follow-up questions in the interview again.  If you're using TurboTax Desktop, be sure your program is updated.  If using TurboTax Online, clear your Cache and Cookies first.
