CAN SOMEONE CLEARIFY THIS FOR ME?

Hey guys, question: back when covid was a big deal and the stimulus checks came out I was self-employed but not making that much at that time, so I used the IRS non-filers tool so I could get my check, being a tax newbie I didn't know that meant I couldn't file my taxes for self-employment for a refund :(. So what seems like years ago, I amended my 2019 return, and I waited and waited more, I finally used the "Where's My Amended Return" Tool on the IRS website, I checked it weekly or so, and this week I just checked again and it said "Adjusted", so I logged onto my IRS online account to check my transcripts and it says my (2019) refund amount with a date of 2/27/23, which is this Monday, I know you can't get an amended return direct deposited, so what does this date mean? Thanks a lot!

IRS doesn't use expected refund dates. That is the day your refund will be put into the mail.

Where's My Refund? includes a tracker that displays progress through 3 stages: (1) Return Received, (2) Refund Approved, and (3) Refund Sent. Where's My Refund? provides a personalized refund date as soon as the IRS processes your tax return and approves your refund. It doesn't show information about amended returns. To check the status of an amended return, use Where's My Amended Return?
