Can or should my parents claim me as a dependent?

I was 21 in 2016, Not a student, but employed full-time, lived with my parents at their home who paid for all of my expenses, food, clothing etc... Well over half of my expenses to live. My W2 was $18,626 for 2016. Tax year 2015 was the same scenario, but I made a lot less money. My parents still did claim me in 2015. Now I am wondering if that was correct when they could have claimed me?

If you were not a full-time student in 2016 and you earned over $4050, you parents cannot claim you as a dependent.

If you made more than $4,050 in 2016, your parents can not claim you . If you made more than $4,000 in 2015, then your parents could not claim you. Unless you are a full time student the income limit applies and nothing else matters at all.
