Can or how do I verify adjusted gross income when we are filing jointly and made different wages. This site shows the amounts to be the same number?

• When you file jointly your AGI is the total of your gross earnings between the two of you. It is reported as a lump sum on your tax return. 
• The TurboTax FAQ below shows you where to find your AGI.
•  If you did your taxes in 2016 with TurboTax you can import last years return and your AGI will be transferred.
•  If you didn't use TurboTax last year use the links to determine where to find your AGI.
