Can my partner claim all our mortgage/home insurance if I am taking the standard deduction? In years past we split it 50-50. We are not married and file separately.

If you choose to take the standard deduction your partner would be free to claim the full mortgage interest deduction, so long as your partner is listed on the loan. Your partner would also be able to claim a deduction for the full amount of property taxes. Home insurance is not a deduction unless the home is used for business.
