Can my father pay my tax debt using his bank account, is that OK or does the account need to be in my name? Thanks

If the account holder's name is not on the tax return, then there is a possibility that the IRS and/or the bank, may refuse to accept a withdrawal to pay the tax.  You might consider one of the alternate methods of payment offered by IRS at https://www.irs.gov/payments.
