Can my church purchase Turbo Tax and can I then prepare 5 returns per Turbo Tax purchased ?

I would like to prepare 2017 income tax returns for elderly and low income members of my church.  If the church purchases Turbo Tax CD's , can I prepare 5 returns per Turbo Tax purchases?

Assuming you are not charging for doing this, you can prepare as many as you want, but only 5 in  total can be efiled.

And buying more CDs won't give you more efiles.  So you only need to buy 1 program.  Print out 2 copies of each return.  One for the person to mail in and one for their copy.

If you are doing this for free then contact the VITA program near you to become a provider then you will not need to buy the TT program or be limited on efiling ... you really really should not be doing this without some protection.
