Can my boyfriend claim me as dependent? I live with him and also made about $9000, but he did pay well over 50% of my needs. I am 20 years old and a full time student.
I did have a part time job at the beginning of 2015. I attend school full time, and we were just wondering if this would be possible?

You would not qualify to be claimed as a dependent on your boyfriend's tax return, because you earned more than $4,000. You would have to file your own tax return and file as Single. No. That makes no difference since you are not related. A student only matters for a Qualifying Child dependent for a parent or close blood relative that can claim you.
