I purchased a Turbo Tax package from Costco and completed my tax work using this package reference license code [Removed] However I inadvertantly also was billed without using this license #. I would like the billing that did not use my license deleted. Please contact me via email at [email address removed] or call [phone number removed]. Thank you
Do you know who the charge was made by? It should show up on your billing statement. If the charge was made by TurboTax, I would reach out to TurboTax Customer Support for assistance.
If the charge was made by some other company, you would need to reach out to them directly for a refund.
@Bob14428 Was the extra fee for e-filing a state return? The cost to e-file a state return was not included with the purchase of the license.
E-filing fee in desktop software
Did you purchase desktop software with state software included? They sell Deluxe both with and without state software--so you have to be careful which one you choose. And even if it does have the state software download included, that is for preparing the state. There is an extra fee to e-file the state. Before March 1 that fee is $20; after March 1 it increases to $25. You can avoid the state e-file fee if you print and mail the state instead of e-filing it.
