Can I stop a transaction through intuit? For filing my taxes early? I did not know they charge immediately.

I put my bank info for where I wanted my refund deposited too and I did not know it would immediately take out of my bank. I want this transaction to stop and refunded back into my account since the IRS is not accepting returns right now.

For 2022?  Are you sure?  You can only pay for the online version fees with a credit card.  It wouldn't come out of your bank account.

the bank info you enter doesn't have any effect until you e-File or mail your tax return.

don't use the pay-with-my refund option. too many users have problems.

ONLINE program :

In the FILE tab step 1 you pay the program fee which you can do with a credit/debit card now before the efiling happens sometime in January.  Payment of the online fee is usually not refundable but you can contact TT support to see what they can/will do for you.

Then in the FILE tab step 2 is where you can enter the bank info for direct deposit.  

Finally in the FILE tab step 3 is where you can efile the return ... this can only happen when all your forms in your return are ready for efiling ... click on the REVIEW tab to see what is not yet ready and get an estimate of when it will be. 

DOWNLOADED program:  Purchase of the program upfront is the only way to get access to the program.  To submit a refund request online, simply fill out our TurboTax Refund Request Form
