Can I still file my 2017 taxes along with my 2018 taxes and so which software is best?

You cannot use the same program to file a 2017 tax return and a 2018 tax return. Each tax year is different. All of the 2017 CD/download programs have all the forms so you can buy Deluxe. Here is where to buy them: https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

Here is where to buy 2018. You can choose between the online product and the CD/download product for 2018. You can start with a lower version and upgrade if you need something that is not in the lower version: https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/
