If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2023 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.

Yes, you can clear & start over if you haven't gone through the payment section of Finish & File. You can use DoninGA's directions for that. 

If you have paid for the  return, but haven't filed yet, you can edit your information by using the left-side menu to return to the area where you need to make changes. 

You may need to expand your screen, or select the menu icon in the upper left corner, if you don't see a left side menu.

If you have already filed and your return was Accepted, you need to wait until after February 15 and file an amended tax return to make corrections. Follow this link for more on amending.
