Can I send a check? I have no other way to pay.

I just lost my job. I just want to pay my taxes and be done with it. Please let me send a check.

Yes, you can send a check along with the 1040-V voucher.  That option will appear at the very end.  Just don't select "direct debit" and it should happen automatically.
