Can I send 1099's to contractors from my self employed turbo tax version? i don't want to buy turbo tax home and business because I am self employed.

Can I send 1099's to contractors from my self employed turbo tax version? i don't want to buy turbo tax home and business because I am self employed.

You will have the capability to prepare 1099s or W-2s using TurboTax Self Employed in early January.  

TurboTax Self Employed is the online (web-based) equivalent of TurboTax Home & Business (CD/download) edition.  Both programs (as well as others) can be used to prepare your tax documents for your contractors and/or employees.  See the TurboTax FAQ below for more info.
