Can i resend 2017 taxes electronic file if rejected for putting wrong amount with li e 6 of 2016 tax? Did put in proper amount?

Unless the return was rejected, you cant resend anything electronically.  If the return was accepted with incorrect information, you need to file an amended return.  Amended returns can only be printed, signed and mailed in for processing.

If the return was rejected, just make your changes and re-submit. The only time (THE ***ONLY*** TIME) you amend your return, is if you need to make a change *AFTER* the IRS has accepted it, and processed it.
