Can I remove something off my taxes

Yes, you can edit the information that you have entered in TurboTax. If you haven't filed your return yet, you can edit your information by using the left-side menu to return to the area where you need to make changes. 

You may need to expand your screen, or select the menu icon in the upper left corner, if you don't see a left side menu.

If you need more specific instructions on removing something from your return, respond back with details of what you are trying to change. 

If you have already filed, but your return was Rejected:

1. Sign in to TurboTax Online and select Fix my return.
2. On the Let's fix your return and then refile screen, select Fix it now or Revisit.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to edit your information. 
4. When you're finished, select Continue to File and continue until you e-file your return. 

If you have already filed and your return was Accepted, you need to wait until your original return is fully processed and then file an amended tax return to make corrections. Follow this link for more on amending.
