can I prepare returns for 2 of my children under my email/account?

No.  If you are using the online account, you can only prepare one return per account.  If you use the download/desktop version, you can prepare multiple returns with the downloaded software.

Online is only good for 1 return per account.  Don’t use your account or you will overwrite your return and it will be gone.  And you have to pay for each account separately so it might get expensive.

You can start another return in TurboTax Online by:

1. Logging out if you are in your account
2. Choose what TurboTax Online product you want to use for the second return
3. Create your account screen
4. Set up a new login for the second return
5. Start working on the new return

The Desktop program can do unlimited returns and efile 5 federal for free.  You can buy the Desktop Download program directly from Turbo Tax

Thanks, I figuerd out that I can use my email but need to set up separate user names and passwords for them so they have their own accounts (please let me know if that is not correct - and thanks so much for answering!

This year you need to use a different email address for each account.
