Can I pay my taxes another time instead of when I file my taxes?

Yes, you can pay your tax due later and e-file now if you choose to. You can choose a date for a direct debit from your bank account, or you can say you will mail a check. The deadline to pay is April 15, 2019. If you mail in a check or money order, include the 1040V voucher form, and I suggest using a mailing service that will track it so you will know it was received. Or you can pay on the IRS site:
