Unfortunately, you cannot.  You must complete and file an income tax return.

Really? Why are you on a Tax filing website if you don't have a clue about how taxes work?

Hire someone to do your taxes, you are clueless and you will get into trouble.

Although the IRS has a copy of your W-2 forms and other sources of income, it is necessary for you to file your own tax return since you may have deductions that will reduce your taxable income and your resultant tax. Also, you may be due tax credits even if you have no tax liability.

The IRS does not know what deductions or credits you have as they are personal in nature. That is why you have to file a tax return.

Also, if you failed to file a tax return, the IRS may file it for you if you owe them money, but they would not do so if they owed you a refund. So it is not only necessary for you to file a tax return, but also in your best interest to do so.

TurboTax is a user friendly software package that will enable anyone to file an accurate tax return with a minimum amount of effort and knowledge of the tax laws.
