Can I import 1099-B from a PDF on TurboTax Desktop

Can I import my 1099-B from a PDF file on TurboTax Desktop Windows? It seems like this is available for TurboTax Online - but why not on the Desktop version?

I am unable to import it directly from the brokerage account.

There must be an easier way, since I don't want to manually enter 28 pages of transactions!

If your 1099-B is from an approved import partner, you should be able to import it directly using these steps.

Importing a pdf is not an option but you can follow the tips in this link to enter the summary of the transactions based upon the holding period and type of sales.

TurboTax will prompt you if you need to mail anything else in after electronically filing your tax return.  Please see "Do I need to mail anything after I've e-filed" for more details.
