If you do not have enough income to have to file a return but had tax withheld from from some form of income, you should indeed file a 1040EZ to be refunded those taxes. You can use the Free version to produce that form.

Do I still received the remaining Tax credit from Solar Panels that I purchased in 2024. I still had about $13k remaining that should have been carried over to this year?
