Can I get assistance on my account ? I am trying to figure out my error. Where do I go when I am independent and I’m filling myself with no kids?

If you cannot be claimed as someone else's dependent then in My Info when it asks you if you can be claimed as a dependent you answer NO.   And since you have no children you do not enter any dependents in My Info.

You should be able to file independently if;

• you support yourself,
• live independently,
• and no one else has claimed you as a dependent

All of this information is contained on your return in the My Info section. 

The typical error is that someone else has claimed you as a dependent.

If you cannot determine who filed using you as a dependent, you should file a paper tax return  (which you can do through TurboTax), claiming yourself and send it in to the IRS. They will then contact both you and the person that claimed you and decide who should get your exemption and adjust your tax result accordingly.
