Can I find out if my ex husband claimed our children as dependents?

He said he didnt but the IRS says they are being claimed by someone other then me? And if he did can it be fixed?

It's possible that your ex-husband didn't claim the children as a dependent but did include them on the return in order to claim Head of Household status or a child-related credit/deduction.

In any case, you will not be able to e-file your return and include the children's SSN.  Print and mail your return.  If your ex did claim the children, the IRS will be in touch in order to straighten things out.
