Can I file state taxes only? I filed an extension for my federal tax return, but I want to file my state taxes now. Why won't TurboTax let me file just state return?

You cannot e-file a state return unless the federal return has been e-filed and accepted. If you want to go ahead and file your state return it will have to be printed, signed and mailed.
