Can i file injured spouse with my taxes to speed up the process?

Just wondering if there is any way to prevent or speed up injured spouse?

Here is the guidance given by the IRS with regard to the processing time for Form 8379 Injured Spouse:  

Generally, if you file Form 8379 with a joint return on paper, the time needed to process it is about 14 weeks (11 weeks if filed electronically). If you file Form 8379 by itself after a joint return has been processed, the time needed is about 8 weeks.

This statement suggests that the faster processing time is when the Form 8379 is filed on its own after the joint return has been processed.
