yes because that will have a new license. to install it would require uninstallation of the previous version.
i have not seen anything that would allow you to pay an additional fee to TT to e-file additional (over 5 ) returns.
I think that's not quite right.
A new license code should not allow you any more E-files.
The E-file limit is an IRS limit to prevent massive fraud, even if you aren't attempting to do so.
You can just use yoru current software, and print-mail-file the rest.
ALWAYS E-file your own long before the E-file limit is reached, and if you do have more to file for some reason, leave the simplest ones for the excess ones to be paper-mail filed (usually for working dependents).
