Can I depreciate chain saws purchased all at the same time as one large purchase or do I list each one individually?

You can do it either way.

If you ever sell some of them at a later date it would be better if listed separately, especially if some were more expensive that others.

If all roughly the same price, it would not matter and the easy thing to do it list them as one purchase of X number of chain saws.
