Can I deduct fees/costs paid for TurboTax in 2023 for both the 2022 program and the 2023 program?

I bought both programs in the same year.  Also, I'm asked to enter tax preparation fees, but in searching for information, I read that tax preparation fees are no longer deductible.  I'm confused.

Tax preparation fees are not deductible on a federal tax return unless you entering business income and expenses, then the fees can be entered as a business expense.
