Can I create a separate User ID and Password for my wife? In other words, is it possible to link two(2) separate IDs to the same joint tax return?

My wife and I always file a joint tax return.   I have a personal User ID and Password but my wife has neither.  It may be that dual sign-ins would compromise  the Turbotax program.  But for a joint return, we already know the inclusion of dual SSNs is not a problem.  In fact, SSNs are mandatory and universally accepted as a near perfect User ID.

No, it's not possible. A tax return can only be accessed by one user ID. You have to use the same user ID to enter all the information for both spouses in a joint tax return. And of course only one person at a time can work on the return.
