Can I correct an incorrect box checked on form 1099-B at the same time I correct the taxpayer date of birth on a e-file federal return that was rejected?

On form 1099-B I indicated that the cost basis wasn't reported to the IRS, but It was. I missed read the form 1099-B that was sent to me.
