Can I claim the hours I pay respite under tax refund? As a non-working mom, can I claim the hours I pay her?

I am not able to work as I have a disabled 22 year old child. I get 30 hours of respite, but that runs out in two weeks, can I claim the money I give the respite as tax refund.

The money that you pay out to provide respite care for your disabled daughter is a medical expenses deduction that may be included in the medical expenses area on Schedule A.  However, if you do not itemize your deductions, you will not be able to take these expenses.
