Can i claim my sister as a dependent with 1099-misc?
My sister started a business in 2016 as a freelancer for graphic design. Because business is slow, I am her main source of income as she runs her business from our home. We did receive some business and she received 1099-MISC in her name totaling $3,200.00. Can I still claim her as a dependent with a 1099-MISC? Who files the 1099-MISC?

You may be able to claim your sister as a dependent, despite the fact that she earns her own income. She'll need to file her own return and report her income there.
