Can i claim a child whom i had in 2020 but also passed away?

i had my daughter in august 2020 and ended up losing her.

I am so sorry about your loss. Yes, you can claim your daughter as a dependent for 2020 as long as she was born alive.

When TurboTax asks how many months your daughter lived with you in 2020, select "The whole year."
