If you have entered Form 1099-MISC with amounts listed in Box 7 (non employee compensation), you may need the Schedule C because you are considered an independent contractor/self employed. The income listed on Form 1099-MISC flows through to the Schedule C and when entering the Schedule C you can deduct any related expenses on the form.
If you do not have that form in your return, you can also delete the Schedule C from your return in the Delete A Form section of TurboTax
