If the child was born anytime in 2022, yes you can add him as a dependent on your 2022 tax return.

You can add him as your dependent in the My Info section of the online program.  When asked how how long he resided in your home select the Whole Year for a child born in 2022.

If the child was born in 2023, they can only be entered on your 2023 tax return that you will file in 2024.

@grace2004- you must have a social security card issued prior to the due date of the return.  So if Baby was born in 2023, then Baby's SS card must be dated prior to April 15, 2024.

When Turbo Tax asks how many months of the year did Baby live with you, for newborns, the answer is 'the whole year', even if Baby was born on Dec 31.   This is by far the biggest mistake parents of newborns make as they answer the number of months since birth and not "all year".
