How do I add a W2 once I've finished with my 2023 return?

Explain what you mean by "finished." Did you e-file already?

What do you mean finished? If you have not filed or submitted it yet you can go back and add it. Click on Add a State to let you back into your return.

If you have submitted the efile you have to wait until the IRS opens on Jan 29 and see if they accept or reject it. If they reject it you can fix it and resend it. But if it is accepted you have to wait longer until it is done processing and you get the refund or pay the tax due. Then you can Amend the return to add the W2.
