Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get your federal tax refund in the mail after my bank rejected it because of a name discrepancy?

It depends. If the bank rejected your refund deposit and sent back to IRS, the IRS then has to reprocess, cut check and mail it to the address on your return. That can take up to 2-5 weeks for them to do so.
