What forms are needed when using parts of primary residence for my business and other parts as rental property?

You will use Form 8829 to report the business use of your home.
If you are self-employed and you file a Schedule C , you will complete Form 8829 Expenses for Business Use of Your Home. The calculation from Form 8829 will transfer to your Form Schedule C. on line 30. If you are a statutory employee, use Schedule C (Form 1040) to claim the expenses.
You will report rental income and expenses on Schedule E. Schedule E is then filed with your Form 1040.
