Bug in free edition - unable to get past wages & income for a minor with income below $2,200 threshold. Keeps kicking me out when I click 'wrap up'.

Are you saying that you are not being allowed to file the tax return?  Or are you saying that the software is freezing up or shutting down unexpectedly?

Is the income reported only W-2 income?  Or is there other income to be reported?  Free Edition is limited in the kinds of income that can be reported.

I’m in the wage and income entry section.  I’m unable to get paste that section.

This is for a minor with less than $2.2k.  No w-2.  Only DIV income.  I complete the section but it will not submit. When I click submit, it literally forces me out of the app to the login page.  Redo everything, and get kicked out again.

As an aside I’m filing for two separate children and the exact same thing is happening for both kids.

TurboTax Free only supports W-2 wages and Earned Income Credit calculations.

Reporting the income for your children requires additional forms that are not in the free product.  You may need to upgrade to the Deluxe version.
