Bought a EV vehicle in 2019. EV Tax credit form 8936 is still not ready for filing by IRS. Based on your experience in the past do you know how when it will be available?

Unfortunately it looks like even if you file without being affected by the phase-out (i.e. 100% on line 4b phase-out percentage) your application still gets rejected. Now I have to wait for something to get fixed that will not change anything.

I am still waiting for this form as well as 8911 for the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Fueling Equipment Installation. Do I need to go to another service since we continue to receive commitments that come and go without resolution? Regular email updates would be nice.

TurboTax has released an update to Form 8936.  Follow these steps to insure that TurboTax is using the updated Form 8936. 

• Clear your browser's cookies and cache 

• Delete Form 8936  

• Enter your vehicle information on Form 8936
