Before I file my taxes, I wanted to make sure my forms show that my parents are claiming me for the majority of 2016 so I don't mess up both my taxes and theirs.

You may look at your 1040 to see whether or not the box is checked on Box 6a.

" If someone can claim you as a dependent, do not check box 6a"
