Because I used TurboTax to file my taxes this year, will I be receiving my government stimulus check the same way as I received my tax return?

If you have direct deposit information on your 2019 return, the IRS will send your stimulus money to that bank account.  If you used the Refund Processing Service, then the IRS only has the banking information for the Santa Barbara Group bank.

The IRS is going to give taxpayers the chance to enter their own banking information.  See the following:

The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?

In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.

It depends. If you got direct deposit, you will get your check in the same way. If you got your check by mail, you have the opportunity to register in the portal to give them your direct deposit information. If you got it on the card, details are still being worked out to see it that is a possibility.
