Backdoor Roth IRA Reporting in TurboTax: Contributions and Conversions in Different Tax Years

I have a question about reporting backdoor Roth IRA contributions in TurboTax and would appreciate step-by-step instructions.

My traditional IRA balance was $0 as of December 31, 2023, and also $0 as of December 31, 2025.

In December 2024, I made a non-deductible contribution to a traditional IRA for tax year 2024 and converted the entire amount to a Roth IRA shortly afterward, with no earnings or capital gains in the traditional IRA. The conversion occurred in 2025.

In 2026, I made a non-deductible contribution to a traditional IRA for tax year 2025 and again converted the entire amount to a Roth IRA shortly afterward in 2026, with no earnings or capital gains in the traditional IRA.

Can you please provide step-by-step instructions in TurboTax on how to correctly report these contributions and conversions for each tax year, including how Form 8606 should be completed for 2024, 2025, and 2026?
