Attach W2 for California state tax return in mail or not?

OK, I need to file by mail.  TurboTax instructions said "Do not attach any Forms(s) W-2" for California tax return.

However, FTB said "Attach a copy of your W-2" at https://www.ftb.ca.gov/file/ways-to-file/paper/index.html.

Who should I follow?  I guess it doesn't hurt to attach W2s anyway?

You should attach copies of your Forms W-2 and any other forms showing California withholding. Omitting these forms can delay the processing of your return.
