At the end of the taxes when it shows my federal return but not my state return does that mean it still filed when it says ready to be mailed

If you are receiving a message that indicates your return is ready to be mailed, it wasn't e-filed. Some returns contain forms that necessitate paper-filing. When you print the return, an instructions page will also print out. This page will have the mailing address on it.
