No one can see your account or your screen.   Did you and your son use the same online account?   When you use online you have to use a different account and user ID for each return.   If you use the same account and same user ID the second return overwrites the first one and you lose it forever.

If you are just in the wrong account for your own return, use the recovery tool to find your account:

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.
